Testing Permalinks

Well the “tell a friend” plug in is not working and I’m not sure that I like the feed plug in that I have installed.  So I guess I’ll try something else.

Well I’m finally getting some time to “play” with this site a bit.  Trying to find a good email/feed plugin that will be versitile enough.  I also want to try out some different forms, maybe some new themes and possibly a poll.  I want to set up a page for users only as well.  Hopefully I have enough time to do all that!

Well I got one type of feed on here, but I’m not sure if I like it.  I’ll use this post to try it out.

Well I’ve found a theme that I really like but I can’t get the widgets to show up the way that I want them too on the sidebars.  I’m going to leave it for now and try to customize the theme a little bit more (which should be really easy with this theme!) and I’ll see if I can play with the sidebars later.

Well I fixed the “oh oh” that I did but I still didn’t really like the stardust theme. So I’ve uploaded a few different ones. I’ll play with them a bit to see if I can get the site a little more original looking.

Well I was trying to change the header by putting in a photo instead of the star & black line. The picture is there but not how I expected it to be so I cropped the picture some more and uploaded it back to the site. We’ll see if it works now. I also tried taking the calendar off of the header as well as change some of the files for the theme – just to see what will happen.

Well today I decided I wanted to customize this theme. So I’m trying to change the header. I learned how to change a picture from JPEG to PNG. To be honest I’m not really 100% sure what I did to change the file type but I’m did. Then I uploaded the new file on to the website. Let’s see if it worked.

Ok, well I’m not sure what went wrong. I’m going to do some more playing around to see if I can figure it out.
